Growing up, Dave played a multitude of sports. Not many of those sports are in his life these days (besides being a spectator), but they shaped the way he lives his life. Playing team and individual sports provided Dave with some amazing life skills that book learning cannot provide.
Dave always knew that living a sedentary lifestyle would never be for him. It took a lot of trial and error to figure out what sports were going to stick around for the long term, but once he figured it out, life got a lot more enjoyable. Dave is now an avid golfer, hockey player, Crossfitter and casual runner.
Dave took three years of Kinesiology at U of M and eventually realized that the path he was on was not entirely for him. He found something more suited for him and will leave it at that.
Spending countless evenings at the gym, hitting several personal plateaus and even changing gyms a few times, Dave found Crossfit. Crossfit and Olympic weightlifting immediately made its way into his daily routine, and he hasn't looked back. Nowadays, he follows a fairly strict diet plan and goes to Undefeated Performance 4-5 times a week on top of his other rec sports. He often coaches 6:00 am classes and hopes you will join him sometime!
Dave has competed in the Crossfit Regionals twice as part of the Undefeated Crossfit team. He does not plan on competing again, but he can give some guidance if this is something that peaks your interest.
