If you’re looking for Sarah, check the gym or her kitchen, you’ll likely have success in finding her there. Leading an active lifestyle and eating to fuel her body are a priority now but it wasn’t always that way. Sarah lived abroad for years, enjoying a lifestyle of overindulging and not making health and fitness a priority. She accidentally stumbled across a CrossFit gym on her way home to Winnipeg and after one workout, she was hooked. She immediately became a member of Undefeated CrossFit upon her return to Winnipeg and has been an active member ever since.
The gym community played a huge role in Sarah’s transition back into life in Canada. “I appreciated having a welcoming space to come to as I was slowly building new relationships and a career,'' she confides. “It wasn’t an easy transition after being disconnected from the city for so long.”
Sarah saw success in her fitness, body composition and mindset from CrossFit immediately, but after a few years she felt her body didn’t reflect the hard work she was putting in at the gym. She knew nutrition was the key for change, but didn’t know how to do this on her own as she already felt like she was eating “pretty healthy”. She set herself up with a nutrition coach and learned how to properly fuel her body as well as work on her relationship with food. Like everything she does, Sarah was diligent in the process and saw success quickly.
As a Certified Nutrition Coach, Sarah is eager to share her skills with her clients. She knows the importance of support and having someone there to guide you. She truly believes the magic is in the process and puts the same diligent effort into guiding her clients to their goals as she does reaching her own. There is room for everyone at the top.
