Dan has always been active, from playing volleyball in University to going to the gym, he has always needed the physical release. After University his workouts slowed down and he saw a dramatic weight increase. With years of working out at a regular gym Dan was in a rut and hired a personal trainer that only trained CrossFit. Within 6 months he was back down to 200 lbs (from 287lbs) and had a burning passion for CrossFit. Joining Undefeated as an athlete was a game changer. The strong community and support of his fellow athletes took his workouts to another level.
Owning a gym was never in the plan for Dan, it was after an accident that led to a re-evaluation of the priorities in his life that he realized that there was more to life than money and just working a regular 9-5. Now he juggles a family and running the gym. The highlight of each of his days is getting to the gym and sharing his passion with everyone around him.
